Since the change and expansion of St Johns Bowling Network we have also been able to increase the volume and accessibility of the children's work. In each congregation we aim to encourage the children to participate fully in church life, believing that children and adults have a lot to teach and learn from each other.
Carol Barwick is our children's coordinator and oversees the work across the congregations and also has a high profile in all the local primary schools. She can be contacted on 01132715744.
We also believe that God wants to fully use children throughout the church and so we encourage children not only to attend but to lead cell groups just as the adults do.
Children's work is also happening outside of the church as we begin to filter into the local primary schools via assemblies and relational work andf leading particular initiatives such as 'Glee Club', 'We care' for children who are 'carers', and 'Cre8'.
