Into Bradford and Beyond
We are proud to be living in this exciting city of Bradford. Sometimes Bradford seems to get a slightly dubious press. We, however, can see the excitement of the present reality and also the tremendous potential for the future.

There is a great diversity of peoples in Bradford coming from all over the world, together with those who are living among us very much 'Bradford born and bred'! We do want to seek God as to his agenda for the city and that involves St John's Bowling Network being very involved in life here in Bradford.

Prayer for Bradford
Being in the heart of the city of Bradford we have a concern not only for our immediate area in Bowling but also right across the city. Howard has been leading a group of leaders of churches and Christian organisations from across the city for some years now. The movement is called 'Prayer for Bradford' and membership is from across all denominations and streams of the Christian church. Participants come together for a prayer breakfast every other week and every quarter we come as congregations together to worship God, and pray over different aspects of life in the city of Bradford.

Prayer for Bradford participants have also instigated a number of initiatives across the city, such as Christians Against Poverty, e:merge, Global Cafe, HCJB Radio,  Holme Christian Care, Ministry among Asians in Bradford, Real Hope, Livability, Bradford University Christian Union, The Lighthouse Group.
