“I had some really hard experiences in my childhood, and as I grew up I often sensed an evil spirit which stayed with me for 10 years, and through 4 different house moves! I started going to St John’s Bowling in the 1980s, and during this time a friend prayed with me that this ‘thing’ would go. As I prayed in the name of Jesus, it left and never came back! A bit later that year I decided to become a Christian. I had struggled with guilt for a long time, but through meeting with others, and with the help of God, I was freed from feelings of guilt and shame.  I stopped going to church for a while, but after my husband recently died, God has guided me back to St John’s Bowling.”
